Always looking to venture into new materials and textures with its Plattan headphones, Stockholm’s Urbanears has teamed up with Harris Tweed to create a pair of headphones featuring the centuries-old, UK-governed wool fabric. Being featured on Urbanears’ popular Plattan on-ear style, the headphones see the 100% pure handwoven virgin wool applied to the headband and caps of the piece. Complete with brown accents on the cushions, frame and cord, the special edition Plattan will be available in stores and online from Urbanears beginning October 25, 2012.
