Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Americas Tour

May 8th, 2011 ⋅ News ⋅ by digilove staff ⋅ 263 Views

Saved Records label boss Nic Fanciulli has undoubtedly become one of Europe’s finest exports in recent years. A Grammy nominated studio producer, he’s worked and remixed artists such as Loco Dice, UNKLE, Josh Wink as well as Kylie Minogue, and Underworld. A lauded DJ, he’s landed residencies at clubbing meccas like Ibiza’s Space, Los Angeles’ Avalon and of course his now iconic Saved bashes in his hometown of Maidstone. As an A&R few can deny the impact that Saved Records releases have had on clubs and DJs across the globe.

Kicking off May 12th he’ll pack in 23 North American dates, continuing the charge from his sell-out Saved Records Miami residency launch during the 2011 Miami Music Week. Consistently managing to find that ever elusive middle-ground of underground credibility and dance floor accessibility, it’s no surprise that Saved Records under Nic’s A&R supervision, has emerged as one of dance music’s true powerhouses since its formation in 2004. Synonymous with the very best cutting edge house and techno music, Saved has consistently surprised by never resting on its laurels. It is one of the few labels that fits into the wallets of every genre of house music DJ, the versatility of the label lending itself well to all.

This North American Saved Records tour follows the label’s successful forays to America in 2009 and 2010, resulting in this special two month expanded tour. It’s a testament to Saved Records’ ability to rise above genre fads, and simply appeal to lovers of great dance music. Upcoming releases from the label embody the spirit of Saved, championing emerging talent and icons of underground dance music. Collaborations with Nic and DJs Rolando and Joris Voorn, plus releases from Bar 25 resident Philip Bader, as well as albums forthcoming from Spencer Parker and Steve Mac, demonstrate the forward thinking savvy that has driven Saved into its position as one of dance music’s must-listen-to labels.
